This is the "Snake Path" on the side of Masada, a fortress built on the flat top a mountain near the Dead sea. The structure at the top is for cable cars. Leah and I started this climb at 4:45am, so we could be on top by sunrise. It took us 50 minutes (including 2 five-minute rest stops).
This picture was taken after we descended. If I had seen it this clearly before the climb, I might not have had the courage to attempt the climb!
